2 C B S TV WEEK 17 Danger Lover MOM Thursday, 9:30 p.m., CBS As Bonnie gets all caught up in her new role as secretary of the women's meeting, Christy realizes that the best sex can only be achieved when there's the tantalizing possibility of getting busted mid-coitus. THE BIG BANG THEORY Thursday, 8 p.m., CTV & CBS L ongtime fans of The Big Bang Theory were in mourning back in November when Carol Ann Susi, the actress whose voice gave life to Howard Wolowitz's constantly complaining, perpetually offscreen mother, died after a brief battle with a particularly aggressive form of cancer. If fans were sad, however, just imagine how Susi's co-workers felt. In the immediate wake of her death, executive producers Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro and Bill Prady released a statement praising Susi's work, noting that while the character was somewhat mysterious as a result of never having been seen, "what was not a mystery . . . was Carol Ann's immense talent and comedic timing, which were on display during each unforgettable appearance." The tribute continued when the series aired its next episode, which closed with a shot of Susi's picture accompanied by the words, "In loving memory of Carol Ann Susi. 'Mrs. Wolowitz.' Every time you spoke, we laughed. You're in our hearts forever." Fans theorized about how the series would deal with the actress's death, and although few suspected that they'd make any attempt to replace her, that was definitively confirmed during last week's poignant episode, which featured Mrs. Wolowitz's death. This week features a slightly more comedic turn on the situation, however, and one which Susi would no doubt have appreciated: on the way home from the funeral, the airline accidentally loses Mrs. Wolowitz's ashes, leaving Howard completely beside himself. Plus, Sheldon and Penny decide to participate in an intimacy experiment that promises to transform any remaining tears to laughter. Goodbye, Mrs. Wolowitz end up going in a decidedly non-awesome direction, Adam and Pops step in to try and save the day — only to make things worse. Given all the buzz about this episode, if you've heard that it was coming, then you've probably also heard that there's even going to be a guest appearance from the original movie popping up during the proceedings, and although it's not one of the film's leads, it's someone whose profile is arguably even higher: Charlie Sheen. You remember Sheen in the film, right? He played the iconic role of Boy in Police Station, who chatted with Ferris's sister, and he'll be doing it again in 2015, except with Erica Goldberg (Hayley Orrantia) having a close encounter with the shady delinquent this time around.
