2 C T V, P B S Hot Dramas GOTHAM Monday, 8 p.m., CTV & Fox T he dynamic duo of hard-charging attorney Harvey Dent and upright detective Jim Gordon might finally be in over their heads this week, as they're tasked with tracking down the Red Hood Gang — the latest nefarious criminal outfit to darken the mean streets of Gotham. But here's the twist: as any fan of the comic book world on which this series is based knows, in a 1951 issue of Detective Comics, the leader of the Red Hood would actually turn out to be the most notorious Batman villain of all — the Joker. During a fight with Batman, he fell into some chemicals and wound up the disfigured supervillian we all know and love. Does that mean Penguin will finally have some competition for the city's most extravagant psychopath? Only time will tell. But for now, while we're on the subject of villainous duos, this week also features a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse when Selina and Ivy find themselves at odds with one another. CASTLE Monday, 10:01 p.m., CTV & ABC O ver the years, we've seen Beckett and Castle become wrapped up in some precarious situations. They've been to crime scenes, the Wild West and, perhaps most daunting of all, the altar. Now that the much-anticipated two-parter has wrapped, this week's episode will have the crime- fighting couple headed where no cop (or crime novelist) has gone before, when they blast off to space. OK, so whether or not they actually orbit the planet remains to be seen, but Canadian star Stana Katic recently told website TV Line that they're heading to Mars in this episode, where they're going to have to work a case that involves "spacesuits and space travel." Sure sounds like something out of this world to us.
