the Canada mortgage and
Housing Corporation has
updated its homebuyers guide

n late February, the Canada mortgage and Housing Corpo-
ration (CmHC) updated its homebuyers guide, which the
organization has dubbed the "roadmap" to home owner-
ship. the 27-page guide, Homebuying Step By Step is available
on CmHC's website (cmhc-sclh.gc.ca). it breaks down the
phases people may need to consider when looking to get into
the housing market.
"it's been revised to better reflect the realities of today's
housing market by illustrating how to assess financial readiness,
providing tools to help prospective homebuyers calculate how
much they can afford and incorporating information about
next steps, whether these are to make a purchase or make
budget changes," CmHC noted in a news release.
