( A L L P H O T O S ) N E T F L I X 68 TV Week HOUSE OF CARDS Friday, Netflix A fter two seasons and one hell of an ascent to power, Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey), the most ruthlessly ambitious politician in Washington, D.C., is now sworn in as the President of the United States of America. And as he takes his place in the Oval Office, with Claire (Robin Wright) as his First Lady, you can't help but wonder what in the world will happen next. "If you watched season two, by the end, it probably left you with certain questions," muses creator Beau Willimon, willing to spill as much about the third season of the critically acclaimed drama as his main character divulges about his grand schemes. "In season three, we either will or won't [answer those]." What Willimon agrees to reiterate are some of the questions we have been asking ourselves for the past year. "If Frank and Claire have achieved the highest level of power in the land, what do they do with it? How does it affect their marriage? Is Doug Stamper [Michael Kelly] alive or dead? I think these are all the natural things that people should be asking." Of course Frank's journey to the top was not without a few hiccups — namely, betrayal, backstabbing, the occasional Hail to the Chief What lies ahead now that House of Cards' cutthroat politico Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is in the Oval Office?
